A planning application to cover an area of hardstanding to the north of Waste Recovery Facility at Lower Compton has been submitted to Wiltshire Council.
Hills Waste Solutions has now submitted a planning application to cover an area of hardstanding to the north of the Waste Recovery Facility at Lower Compton. The purpose of this would be to improve environmental controls at the facility leading to:
- Reduced odour
- Reduced litter
- Reduced scavenging from gulls
- Improved visual appearance.
There will be no change to the volumes of waste accepted and managed at the facility as a result of this application being granted.
